Wine Bar Barolo Flight

Special wine bar tasting flight, February 28-29, 4 pm until late.

Barolo is the wine of Kings, and the King of wines. And here at Waterford, we absolutely love it.

But for all our love, it has two drawbacks – it’s very rare and exceptionally expensive. And those are two things we just can’t stand for.

So for two nights only at the Delafield Wine Bar, we will be offering a Grand Cru flight of amazing Barolo: Enzo and Silvia Altare’s groundbreaking and famous Giarborina; the most acclaimed vineyard in La Morra – Rocche dell’Annuziata from the Revello brothers; and finally, Marco Marengo’s stunning old-vine Riserva from another La Morra Grand Cru vineyard, Brunate.

If you were to purchase the bottles for this flight yourself for the tasting your retail cost would be $300 (seriously). But for this Friday and Saturday only, we will be offering a flight of these wines at the Delafield wine bar for $19. Come join us for this amazing tasting!

Wines to be tasted:

2015 Altare Giarborina $71.99

2013 Revello Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata $99.99

2012 M. Marengo Barolo Riserva Vigna Viecchia Brunate $119.99

Flight of all three, 2.5 oz. pours: $19
